Recording || Production

My background in music production spans recording, editing, mixing, post-production, and creative project development. Whether working on music, podcasts, video content, or ministry resources, I enjoy helping transform ideas into polished and engaging final products.

Featured Recording Projects

I have a particular interest in capturing sound within real-world environments and exploring the relationship between acoustics, place, and listening. My recording work has included large orchestral performances, cathedral choirs, chamber ensembles, and environmental soundscapes, with projects ranging from live musical performances in churches and historic venues to natural ambience recordings captured in remote outdoor locations.

These experiences have given me an appreciation for the unique sonic character of different spaces and the ways in which sound can communicate atmosphere, emotion, and a sense of place.

Chamber Ensembles

Recording and production of small ensemble performances within church and recital settings, emphasizing intimacy, detail, and spatial realism.

Songwriting & Composition

Alongside my work in recording and live audio, I enjoy exploring music as a creative and expressive medium through songwriting, composition, and production. My projects have ranged from original songs to compositional instrumental collaborations or arrangements for orchestral instruments, drawing on influences from worship music, classical compositions and music theory, storytelling, sound design, and personal reflection.

Through these projects, I have developed collaborative skills in arranging, recording, editing, and production while exploring the ways music and sound can communicate ideas, emotions, and stories.

The excerpts below are intended as portfolio samples demonstrating songwriting, arrangement, instrumentation, recording, and production capabilities. Full demo recordings and project materials are available upon request.

Audio Drama & Narrative Production

I am additionally interested in the use of sound as a tool for storytelling, education, and communication. Through audio drama, spoken-word production, podcast editing, and narrative audio projects, I have explored how recording, sound design, music, and dialogue can work together to create engaging and immersive listening experiences.

These projects draw on both creative production and technical audio skills, combining recording, editing, mixing, sound design, and narrative development to communicate ideas and tell meaningful stories.
