I have always been driven by curiosity and a love of learning. Music became a central part of my life from a young age, eventually leading me to formal training at a music conservatory and a journey that has spanned performance, production, education, research, and ministry. Along the way, I have been fortunate to engage in a wide variety of volunteer, outreach, creative, and academic opportunities, each of which has shaped my interests and broadened my understanding of both people and the world around me.

Many of my academic and creative pursuits have grown naturally from one another. What began as a passion for music developed into interests in psychology, communication, culture, education, and the ways people connect through shared experiences. These interests continue to influence both my professional work and ongoing research, particularly in areas relating to music, learning, and human behaviour.

Outside of music, I have a deep appreciation for languages and intercultural communication. I enjoy studying languages as a way of better understanding people, cultures, and different ways of thinking. Over the years I have independently studied several languages, including Korean, and continue to pursue language learning as part of a lifelong commitment to personal growth and cross-cultural understanding.

Whether through music, scholarship, teaching, media, ministry, or language learning, I am continually inspired by opportunities to learn, create, and serve others. While these interests may appear distinct on the surface, they are united by a common desire to better understand God’s world, contribute meaningfully to the lives of others, and use the gifts and opportunities I have been given in service to both faith and community.
